The AD7766BRUZ-RL7 is a 24-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) ADC from Analog Devices, sampling at 128k samples per second.
Signal-chain fit and supply rails
The differential input topology rejects common-mode noise from the sensor or signal-conditioning stage, which is the main reason to choose this ADC over a single-ended part in a noisy industrial or instrumentation environment. Both the analog and digital supply rails are specified at 2.5 V, so the same rail can feed the ADC core and the SPI bus level translator if the host controller runs at a different voltage. The external reference input means the converter's full-scale range and drift are set by the reference IC, not by an internal bandgap — budget a low-drift reference like the ADR45xx series to preserve the 24-bit linearity.
