Product details

Quad 16-bit DAC with internal reference option

The AD5754RBREZ-REEL7 is a quad-channel, 16-bit, voltage-buffered DAC from Analog Devices' iCMOS series, packing four independent converters into a 24-TSSOP exposed-pad package. It settles to 0.003% in 12 µs typical, driven by a String DAC architecture that delivers monotonic performance without the glitch energy of R-2R ladder designs. The digital interface is SPI- and DSP-compatible, and the part accepts either an external reference or its own internal 2.5 V reference for ratiometric or absolute output scaling.

Linearity and error budget

Integral nonlinearity is ±16 LSB max, and differential nonlinearity is ±1 LSB max — the DNL spec guarantees monotonicity, so the output never skips a code across the full 16-bit range.

Housed in a 24-lead TSSOP with an exposed pad (24-TSSOP-EP), the package allows a direct thermal path to the PCB ground plane for heat sinking in high-channel-count or high-ambient designs. Supplied on tape and reel (REEL7 suffix), it is ready for automated pick-and-place assembly in volume production.
