Programmable sinusoidal oscillator for resolver excitation
The AD2S99APZ is a programmable sinusoidal oscillator from Analog Devices, designed to generate a clean sine-wave carrier for resolver and synchro excitation in motion-control systems. Its frequency is adjustable from 2 kHz to 20 kHz, covering the standard excitation range for most industrial resolvers. Operating from a ±4.75V to 5.25V supply and drawing 8 mA typical, it integrates directly onto a mixed-signal board without a separate power stage.
