12,800 logic cells in a 15x15 BGA
The XC7S15-1FTGB196I is a Spartan®-7 FPGA with 12,800 logic elements (cells) arranged in 1,000 CLB slices, plus 100 user I/O brought out to a 196-ball CSBGA package measuring 15x15 mm. On-chip block RAM totals 368,640 bits — enough for moderate FIFO buffers or small look-up tables without external memory.
Package and board-fit note
The 196-ball CSBGA (15x15 mm) uses a 0.80 mm ball pitch — a standard 4-layer PCB with via-in-pad or microvia fan-out handles the routing. The surface-mount package is supplied in tray format.
