Surge clamp for a 33 V rail
The 1.5KE39CA/TR13: Its reverse standoff voltage of 33.3 V is the maximum steady-state voltage the device sees without conducting — the protected rail must stay at or below this level during normal operation. For a 33 V bus — common in telecom, industrial control, and automotive auxiliary supplies — this provides a robust clamp against inductive load dumps and lightning-induced surges without requiring an external series resistor.
Package and thermal envelope
Housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead through-hole package, the device is suited for point-to-point wiring or PCB mounting with 0.040-inch diameter leads. The operating junction temperature range spans -55°C to 150°C, covering the full industrial temperature grade and allowing deployment in outdoor enclosures, engine bays, or near hot power supplies. Tape & Reel packaging supports automated insertion for volume production. The 1.5KE series is a standard footprint — any DO-201 PCB layout accepts this device without pad modification.
