TVS diode for 171 V rail clamping
The 1.5KE200CA/B: It clamps transients on a 171 V nominal rail to 274 V maximum, with a breakdown voltage range starting at 190 V. The single bidirectional channel replaces two unidirectional diodes in back-to-back configuration, saving board space and reducing parts count on AC or bipolar DC lines.
Peak pulse current and thermal envelope
At the clamping voltage of 274 V, the device conducts 5.5 A peak pulse current — the 1500 W rating is the product of these two values under the standard 10/1000 µs test waveform.
