The Winbond W25Q128JWSIQ is a 128 Mbit (16 MB) SpiFlash® serial NOR flash organized as 16M x 8, and it is the low-voltage member of the W25Q128 line: instead of the usual 2.7 V to 3.6 V range, this part operates from 1.7 V to 1.95 V. It is supplied in an 8-pin SOIC with the 5.30 mm wide body, in a tube.
The 1.8 V rail makes the JWSIQ the natural pairing for modern low-power MCUs, wireless SoCs, and battery-operated designs that run their memory plane at 1.8 V. Because the memory operates from the same 1.7 V to 1.95 V domain as the host logic, it connects directly to 1.8 V I/O without level shifters or a separate 3.3 V supply just for the flash. That removes components and standby power from designs where every microamp counts.
Performance is unchanged for the density: a 133 MHz clock with standard SPI and Dual/Quad I/O interfaces, a -40°C to 85°C operating range, and a 3 ms page program. Note that this 1.8 V variant carries the Quad I/O interface but not the QPI/DTR modes listed on the 3.3 V 128 Mbit parts; if your design is bound by I/O mode rather than by voltage rail, weigh the trade against the W25Q128JVSIQ at 3.3 V.
Choose the JWSIQ when the whole board is 1.8 V and you want 16 MB of NOR code and data storage without a voltage-domain crossing. For reel quantities in production, order the W25Q128JWSIQ TR with the same silicon and package.
