The VOW137-X017T: The open collector output sinks up to 50 mA and pulls down with a typical rise/fall of 14 ns / 7 ns, so the signal integrity at the receiver depends on the pull-up resistor value and the load capacitance on that collector node. The 10kV/µs common-mode transient immunity means the output won't glitch when a fast voltage step jumps across the isolation barrier — critical in motor drive or inverter applications where the switching node sees high dv/dt. The 100 ns max propagation delay is symmetric for low-to-high and high-to-low transitions, so the pulse-width distortion stays within a few nanoseconds for most loads.
Housed in an 8-SMD Gull Wing package with a surface-mount footprint — standard SOIC-8 wide-body land pattern. The gull-wing leads are visible after reflow, so visual inspection and rework are straightforward with a hot-air station. Operating temperature spans -40°C to 100°C, covering industrial and most commercial environments.
