It provides 5300Vrms of galvanic isolation between input and output, making it suitable for breaking ground loops and protecting low-voltage logic from high-side transients in industrial controls, motor drives, and isolated power supplies. The two independent channels share a common LED-side input and separate phototransistor outputs, so one package handles two isolated signal paths.
