Dual-channel optocoupler with 4000Vrms isolation
The Vishay ILD211T is a dual-channel transistor-output optocoupler in an 8-SOIC package, providing 4000Vrms isolation between input and output. The output transistor is rated for up to 70V and 30 mA continuous, with a typical Vce saturation of 400 mV. Switching is moderate — typical turn-on time is 6 µs, turn-off 5 µs, with rise/fall of 3 µs and 4.7 µs respectively — suited for logic-level signal isolation in industrial controls, PLC I/O modules, motor-drive feedback, and medical equipment where galvanic isolation is required.
The 4000Vrms isolation is a reinforced-single-insulation level. The 70V output maximum means the phototransistor side can interface directly with 24V or 48V logic rails without level shifting.
