600 V, 1 A — the board-fit numbers
The DF06S-E3/77: The Vishay DF06S-/77 is a single-phase bridge rectifier rated 600 V peak reverse and 1 A average rectified output — the two numbers that decide whether it handles the line voltage and the load current on a low-power AC-to-DC rail. Forward drop is 1.1 V max at 1 A, so at full load the rectifier dissipates about 1.1 W — the DFS package relies on the PCB copper to sink that heat; no heatsink pad, so board layout matters for thermal margin. Reverse leakage is 5 µA at the 600 V peak rating — negligible for most supplies, but worth noting if the load is a high-impedance sensor front-end that sees the leakage as offset.
Surface-mount DFS — field-swap reality
The 4-SMD gull-wing DFS package is a hand-solderable footprint — no hot-air station required for a field swap. The gull-wing leads are visible from the side, so solder-joint inspection is straightforward with a loupe.
