The Vishay CNY75GB is a single-channel optoisolator with a DC input and a transistor-with-base output, housed in a 6-DIP (0.300", 7.62 mm) through-hole package.
Current transfer ratio and switching speed
Current transfer ratio (CTR) is specified at 100% minimum and 200% maximum at a forward current of 10 mA, giving a predictable gain window for logic-level translation across the isolation barrier. Typical turn-on time is 5.5 µs and turn-off time 4 µs, with rise/fall times of 3 µs and 3.7 µs respectively — fast enough for 100 kHz switching supplies or digital signal isolation at moderate data rates. Output transistor can handle up to 70 V collector-emitter and 50 mA continuous current, with a Vce saturation of 300 mV typical at rated current. This allows direct drive of downstream logic inputs or low-power relays without a buffer stage.
It is ROHS3 compliant.
