DO-201AA axial package — through-hole TVS integration
The DO-201AA (DO-27) axial body is the standard through-hole outline for 1.5 kW TVS diodes — the lead diameter and body length give the thermal path needed to dissipate the energy during a clamping event without exceeding the junction limit. Mounting is vertical or horizontal in a punched or-formed lead bend; the cathode band marks the Zener polarity. Through-hole assembly is compatible with wave-solder and hand-solder profiles; no reflow profile applies to this package type.
