The 1.5SMC350A-M3/9AT: This is a Zener-type TVS diode — the breakdown is sharp and the dynamic resistance stays low, so the clamping voltage at the rated current is predictable.
Housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) package, the same footprint as the SMCJ series. The copper pad area under the cathode tab sets the thermal resistance to the board — for a 1500 W pulse, the junction temperature rise is dominated by the PCB copper area, not the package itself.
