Rated for 1500 W peak pulse power (1.5 kW) with a 10/1000 µs waveform, this TVS clamps at 33.2 V max when conducting 45.2 A. The reverse standoff voltage is 20.5 V, meaning the part is fully non-conducting below that level and begins to avalanche at 22.8 V minimum breakdown. For a 24 V nominal automotive bus that sees transients up to 33 V, the 20.5 V standoff leaves enough margin that the diode does not leak during normal operation but still catches the surge before the downstream IC's abs-max rating.
Bidirectional channel and temperature envelope
