The 1.5SMC24AHM3_A/I: Reverse standoff is 20.5 V — the TVS draws negligible leakage below this voltage, so it sits on a nominal 24 V bus without loading it. That 33.2 V clamp keeps the downstream 24 V-rated electronics inside their abs-max voltage during a load-dump or inductive kick. Peak pulse power is 1500 W (1.5 kW) for the 10/1000 µs pulse — this is the energy-handling capacity that determines whether the TVS survives a given transient without shorting. For shorter pulses the power capability is higher; the datasheet derating curve applies above 25 °C.
Automotive grade and temperature envelope
AEC-Q101 qualification means this TVS meets the automotive stress tests: high-temperature reverse bias, temperature cycling, and ESD robustness.
Reflow profile follows standard JEDEC J-STD-020 for the lead-free solder joint.
