The 1.5SMC110CAHM3/I: The 94V reverse standoff voltage is the normal DC operating level it leaves alone — the rail sits below 94V and the diode stays off. When a surge pushes the line past 105V minimum breakdown, the Zener clamps the voltage to 152V maximum, shunting up to 9.9A of peak pulse current away from the load. The bidirectional channel means a single part protects both positive and negative transients — useful on AC-coupled telecom lines or bipolar supplies where polarity reverses. No power line protection is built in; this is a signal-rail or low-voltage bus clamp, not a mains-side suppressor.
Qualified to AEC-Q101, this part meets the automotive stress tests: temperature cycling, high-temperature reverse bias, and ESD robustness per the JEDEC-derived automotive standard.
