Automotive-grade 1500W TVS in a DO-214AB package
The 1.5SMC110AHE3/57T: It clamps a 94V reverse standoff (working voltage) to a maximum 152V at 9.9A peak pulse current — the protected rail sees no more than 152V during a transient event. Breakdown occurs at a minimum 105V, giving a 11V margin above the standoff before the diode starts conducting — cleanly separates normal operation from transient clamping.
AEC-Q101 and the automotive deployment envelope
Operating temperature spans -65°C to 150°C (junction), covering the full automotive thermal profile including cold-crank and hot-soak conditions. The DO-214AB (SMC) surface-mount package allows reflow assembly on standard PCB pads; the large copper tab area under the cathode helps dissipate the 1500W pulse energy into the board.
Sourcing and lifecycle status
Available through distribution; quoted to order against BOM quantities. Supplied on Tape & Reel (TR), standard for automated pick-and-place lines. The base number 1.5SMC110 covers the family; the HE3 suffix denotes the AEC-Q101 automotive variant.
