1500 W bidirectional TVS for 342 V rails
The 1.5KE400CA-E3/51: Housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead package, it is intended for through-hole mounting on general-purpose circuit protection applications where a single bidirectional device protects against surges on both polarities.
Clamp voltage and breakdown margin
The 342 V reverse standoff voltage (working voltage) means the TVS draws negligible leakage current on a nominal 342 V DC or 240 V AC rail. The minimum breakdown voltage of 380 V ensures the device does not conduct during normal operation, while the 548 V clamp limits the transient to a level that downstream semiconductors rated for 600 V can survive.
Obsolete — sourced through surplus channels
Vishay has marked the 1.5KE400CA-/51 as obsolete. Each lot is sourced and verified against the original Vishay specifications; quantities and pricing are confirmed at RFQ time.
