Clamping performance and surge rating
The 1.5KE33CA-E3/54: The 28.2 V reverse standoff voltage defines the continuous DC rail it protects — a 24 V or 28 V supply bus sits safely below that threshold. Breakdown voltage min 31.4 V ensures the device starts conducting before the clamping level is reached, giving the downstream circuitry a defined avalanche window. The single bidirectional channel handles both positive and negative surges without polarity concerns.
Thermal and mechanical envelope
The through-hole DO-201AA (DO-27) axial package mounts through the board — the lead diameter and body length determine the hole size and keep the surge current path short. No power line protection (not designed for AC mains), so it fits DC rails, signal lines, and low-voltage bus protection where fast clamping is needed.
Production status and supply
Supplied in tape and reel or cut tape options for the DO-201AA axial package, supporting both automated insertion and small-quantity prototyping.
