The 1.5KE27A-E3/54: The 1.5KE27A-/54 is a Vishay TransZorb TVS — a unidirectional Zener-type transient suppressor that clamps a 40 A peak pulse (10/1000 µs waveform) at 37.5 V, absorbing 1500 W of peak pulse power. Its 23.1 V reverse standoff voltage means the protected DC rail must stay below that level during normal operation; the device starts conducting above the 25.7 V minimum breakdown threshold.
