Transient suppressor for 162V rails
The 1.5KE200CHE3/73 is a unidirectional TransZorb TVS diode from Vishay's automotive-grade series, qualified to AEC-Q101 for reliability in harsh environments. It clamps transients at 287V maximum (at 5.2A peak pulse current, 10/1000µs waveform) and protects a 162V nominal rail — the reverse standoff voltage where the device is fully non-conducting under normal operation. Rated for 1500W (1.5kW) peak pulse power, this axial-leaded part in a DO-201AA (DO-27) package handles the energy dump from inductive load switching or battery disconnect in 12V, 24V, and 48V automotive systems.
Obsolete — sourcing through independent channels
Vishay has marked the 1.5KE200CHE3/73 as obsolete. No official successor order code is listed by the manufacturer. For sustainment programs that already qualify this TVS, the 1.5KE200CHE3/73 can be sourced to order against the BOM line. The AEC-Q101 qualification documentation and RoHS compliance data are available with the lot trace.
