The 1.5KE130CA-E3/54: The 1.5KE130CA-/54 is a 1500 W peak-pulse-power bidirectional TVS from Vishay's TransZorb series, rated for a reverse standoff voltage of 111 V and a breakdown range starting at 124 V. Clamping is specified at 179 V maximum at the 8.4 A peak pulse current (10/1000 µs waveform). The 111 V standoff means the diode draws negligible leakage at normal line or bus voltages up to that level; the 179 V clamp sets the maximum transient voltage the downstream circuitry sees during a surge event.
DO-201AA axial package and temperature grade
Housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead package, the device mounts through-hole and is supplied on tape and reel or cut tape. The junction temperature range spans -55°C to 175°C, covering industrial and automotive under-hood thermal profiles without derating. The single bidirectional channel protects a single signal or power rail against both positive and negative transients, eliminating the need for two series diodes in opposite orientation.
