Clamping voltage and breakdown margin

The 102 V reverse standoff means the diode stays off below that rail voltage, drawing only leakage. At 114 V minimum breakdown it starts conducting, and the 165 V clamp ensures the protected circuit sees no more than that during a surge. The 9.1 A peak-pulse current rating at the 10/1000 µs waveform defines the energy it can absorb — a 1500 W pulse at the clamp voltage.
