Product details

1500 W bidirectional TVS for 94 V rails

The 1.5KE110CAHE3_A/C is a 1500 W bidirectional TransZorb® TVS diode from Vishay, qualified to AEC-Q101 for automotive use. It clamps transients on a 94 V nominal rail (reverse standoff) with a breakdown minimum of 105 V and a clamping ceiling of 152 V at the 9.9 A peak pulse current (10/1000 µs waveform). The 1500 W rating means it absorbs a single 10/1000 µs surge up to that power level without failing short — a common benchmark for TVS sizing in 48 V to 72 V battery buses and automotive load-dump protection circuits.

AEC-Q101 and the -55 to 175 °C envelope

The DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead package is through-hole mounted — a standard footprint for high-surge TVS diodes in automotive junction boxes and power distribution modules. The bidirectional single-channel configuration clamps both polarities, so no polarity orientation is needed on the board.
