Peak pulse current and clamping voltage
At the 10/1000 µs test waveform, the 1.5KE10CA-/54 clamps a 103 A surge to 14.5 V maximum. The 1500 W peak pulse rating is the product of clamp voltage and peak current at the specified pulse width. Derating for higher ambient temperature or longer pulse duration follows the standard TVS derating curve — at 175 °C junction the peak pulse power drops to zero per the datasheet profile.
