AEC-Q101 TransZorb for 12V/24V automotive buses
The 1.5KE100CAHE3_A/D: It clamps transients on 12V or 24V vehicle power rails — the 85.5V reverse standoff means it sits across the bus without conducting during normal operation, and the 95V minimum breakdown ensures it starts clamping before the downstream electronics see damage. The 137V clamping voltage at 10.9A peak pulse current gives a safe margin for 60V-rated downstream parts in a 24V system.
Through-hole axial package in DO-201AA / DO-27 format — the 1.5KE body is a standard footprint for TVS diodes in power distribution and ECU input protection. The axial leads let you solder it into a PCB or wire it point-to-point in a harness; orientation is non-critical because the part is bidirectional. The wide junction-temperature range also makes it suitable for high-vibration, sealed enclosures where passive cooling is limited.
Sourcing and compliance
The Tape & Box packaging suits medium-volume assembly lines without reel-change overhead.
