Eight high-side switches in one 18-SOP package
The Toshiba TBD62783AFWG,EL is an 8-channel high-side power switch array. Each of the eight outputs is a P-channel MOSFET that switches the load side of a supply rail — the input-to-output ratio is 1:1, meaning each input independently controls its own output with no internal logic encoding. The switch type is general purpose, the input is non-inverting, and the interface is a simple on/off control per channel. Rated for a load voltage up to 50 V and delivering up to 500 mA per channel, this part fits 12 V, 24 V, and 48 V industrial loads — solenoids, relays, lamps, and small motors in factory automation, building control panels, and outdoor telecom equipment.
The 500 mA maximum per channel is the continuous DC rating. If you are driving eight 300 mA loads at 85°C, check the junction temperature against the package's thermal resistance; the 50 V load ceiling means this part handles 24 V industrial buses with comfortable margin and 48 V rails within the absolute maximum.
The part is ROHS3 compliant. For dual-sourcing or a through-hole alternative, the TBD62781APG is a functional peer — same 8-channel high-side architecture and 50 V load rating, but in a through-hole package with a slightly lower 400 mA per-channel output. The TBD62003APG is a different configuration: 7-channel, inverting input, low-side N-channel outputs.
The active lifecycle means there is no urgency from a looming EOL, but lead times and lot-specific date codes are verified per order.
