Automotive-grade PWM controller for isolated and non-isolated topologies
The Texas Instruments UCC2801QDRQ1 is a current-mode PWM controller qualified to AEC-Q100 for automotive applications. It supports boost, flyback, and forward converter topologies from a single 7.4 V to 12 V supply rail.
No clock sync — single-channel only
The UCC2801QDRQ1 does not support clock synchronization. That means you cannot phase-interleave multiple controllers to reduce input ripple or share thermal load. If your power stage needs more than one phase, this part is a single-phase solution. The single output drives one external power switch, and the control loop is compensated internally around the 46 kHz fixed frequency.
Active and available to quote
Per the manufacturer's status, the UCC2801QDRQ1 is currently active and in production. It is ROHS3 compliant and ships in Tape & Reel or Cut Tape from the 8-SOIC package.
