Dual 5 A low-side driver — what it handles
It drives both N-channel MOSFETs and IGBTs, with independent channels that let you gate two devices from one package or parallel them for higher current. Typical applications include switch-mode power supplies, motor drives, solar inverters, and DC-DC converters where fast, clean gate drive is needed to minimise switching losses.
7 ns rise time — switching loss budget
Rise and fall times are 7 ns and 6 ns typical, respectively. That edge speed keeps the cross-conduction interval short, which matters when you are pushing switching frequency above 100 kHz in a synchronous buck or a half-bridge. The 4.5 V to 18 V supply range covers 5 V logic rails and 12 V or 15 V bias common in industrial power stages — one BOM line fits multiple designs.
