It operates from a 4V to 15V supply rail and delivers a typical 20ns rise time and 15ns fall time into the gate load — fast enough to keep switching losses in check for medium-frequency power stages like synchronous buck converters, push-pull converters, and motor-drive low-side FETs. The two channels are independent and non-inverting, so you can parallel them for higher peak current or drive two separate devices with independent control signals.
The 4A source and 4A sink peak rating determines how fast the gate capacitance charges and discharges, which directly sets the switching transition time.
Supply range and logic thresholds
The 4V to 15V supply range covers 5V and 12V bias rails common in industrial control and automotive systems. The logic input thresholds are 1V (VIL) and 2V (VIH).
Package and thermal management
The exposed pad is also the ground return for the output stage — keep the PCB trace short and wide to the source of the low-side FET.
