4A peak drive for N/P-channel MOSFETs
The UCC27324DR delivers 4A peak source and 4A peak sink current, enough to charge and discharge the gate capacitance of medium-power MOSFETs in tens of nanoseconds. That drive strength directly reduces switching losses in DC-DC converters, motor drives, and class-D audio amplifiers. It drives both N-channel and P-channel MOSFETs with non-inverting inputs on two independent channels. The supply range from 4.5V to 15V covers common 5V, 12V, and intermediate bus rails.
Fast switching with wide temperature margin
Typical rise time of 20ns and fall time of 15ns keep cross-conduction losses low when driving MOSFETs at switching frequencies above 100 kHz. The logic input thresholds of 1V (VIL) and 2V (VIH) are compatible with 3.3V and 5V controllers without level shifting.
