Half-bridge gate driver for N-channel MOSFETs
It delivers 3A peak source and 3A peak sink current, with independent non-inverting inputs for each channel. The bootstrap high-side supply is rated to 120 V, so the part suits bus voltages up to that ceiling in typical motor drives, DC-DC converters, and class-D audio amplifiers. Supply voltage range is 8 V to 17 V.
That edge rate demands a tight gate-drive loop — the bootstrap capacitor and the MOSFET gate resistor need to sit close to the driver output pins to keep ringing under control. The 0.154-inch pitch means the layout engineer can route the high-side and low-side gate traces on the same layer without excessive via inductance.
Temperature range and production status
That extra headroom matters in motor-drive enclosures or under-hood automotive environments where the PCB sees sustained heat soak.
