Four-channel level translator with auto-direction sensing
The Texas Instruments TXS0104EPWRG4 is a 4-bit bidirectional voltage-level translator designed for mixed-voltage digital interfaces. Auto-direction sensing eliminates the need for a direction-control pin, simplifying firmware and reducing PCB trace count.
Supply voltage ranges define the translation window
For example, a 1.8 V application processor talking to a 3.3 V sensor or a 3.3 V MCU driving a 5 V display backplane both fall within the operating window. The 24 Mbps data rate is enough for most SPI and UART buses, though it will not handle high-speed SDIO or parallel memory interfaces.
