300 mA fixed 2.5 V LDO — 4.5 µA Iq, 75 dB PSRR
The TPS7A2525DRVR is a single-output positive linear regulator from Texas Instruments, delivering a fixed 2.5 V at up to 300 mA from an input rail that can go as high as 18 V. Quiescent current is just 4.5 µA, making this LDO a strong candidate for always-on or battery-powered rails where the regulator's own draw must not eat into the load budget. Power-supply rejection ratio (PSRR) is specified at 75 dB at 10 Hz, rolling off to 52 dB at 1 kHz — the rejection profile covers the switching-noise band from upstream DC-DC converters, so the output stays clean enough for sensitive analog or RF front-ends.
Dropout, protection, and control
Built-in over-current and over-temperature protection guard against output shorts or excessive ambient heat without external clamp diodes. Enable and Power Good pins give the system architect sequencing control and a valid-output flag for downstream load enable or reset generation.
Package and temperature grade
Housed in a 6-WDFN exposed pad package (also designated 6-WSON, 2x2 mm), the small footprint suits space-constrained PCBs in portable or compact industrial modules.
ROHS3 compliant, with no RoHS exemptions expiring.
