Fixed 0.8 V rail for noise-sensitive digital loads

Dropout and headroom planning
Quiescent current is 3 µA typical, which keeps the part viable for always-on or battery-backed rails where every microamp counts. The Enable pin lets a system-level power controller shut the rail entirely when the load is idle.
Protection and stability
On-chip protection includes over-current limiting, thermal shutdown, and under-voltage lockout (UVLO). TI lists the TPS7A0508PDBVT as an active product with ROHS3 compliance. For a current-production LDO in a standard SOT-23-5 package, supply through independent distribution is stable — this is not a part that requires broker sourcing or last-time-buy planning.
