Ultra-low-power LDO for always-on rails
Its standout feature is a quiescent current of just 300 nA, making it a strong candidate for battery-powered or energy-harvesting designs where the regulator stays on continuously. The 55 dB PSRR at 1 kHz provides enough rejection to clean up ripple from a switching pre-regulator feeding a noise-sensitive load like an RF transceiver or precision ADC reference.
Housed in a 4-bump DSBGA measuring 0.64 x 0.64 mm, this is a wafer-level chip-scale package. It requires a surface-mount assembly process with fine-pitch stencil and careful solder-paste volume control.
Protection and control
Built-in protection includes over-current, over-temperature, and under-voltage lockout (UVLO). An enable pin allows the system to shut down the regulator when the load is idle, dropping the quiescent current further.
No end-of-life notice is on record. For dual-sourcing or a pin-compatible alternate with a different output voltage, the TPS7A0313PDBVR (1.3 V fixed) shares the same PSRR, protection features, and package footprint.
