1 A adjustable LDO — rail flexibility for analog and logic
The TPS76801QD is a single-output positive adjustable linear regulator delivering 1 A from a 1.2 V to 5.5 V output range. 60 dB PSRR at 1 kHz attenuates switching ripple from a preceding DC-DC converter — relevant for powering analog front-ends, ADCs, or sensor bias where supply noise couples into the signal path. Enable and Power Good pins simplify power-up sequencing and rail monitoring without an external supervisor IC.
Temperature grade and protection for demanding environments
Integrated over-current, over-temperature, and reverse polarity protection allow the regulator to survive output shorts, thermal runaway conditions, and reversed battery connections in field wiring scenarios. Quiescent current is 125 µA typical — low enough for always-on domains in battery-backed systems, though not as aggressive as dedicated ultra-low-Iq LDOs.
Active production — sourcing and compliance
Supplied in tube (standard 8-SOIC carrier).
