What this LDO brings to a low-power rail
The Texas Instruments TPS76301DBVT is a single-output, adjustable positive LDO regulator rated for 150 mA continuous output. It takes an input up to 10 V and delivers an output adjustable from 1.5 V up to 6.5 V via external resistor divider. A 60 dB PSRR at 1 kHz gives it decent noise rejection for powering sensitive analog sections like op-amp supplies or ADC reference buffers.

The TPS76301DBVT integrates over-current, over-temperature, and reverse polarity protection, so it can handle a miswired bench or a brief output short without letting the magic smoke out. No external protection diodes needed for most loads — the chip handles it.
