AMOLED bias supply in a 3x3 mm package
It takes an input from 2.9V to 4.5V — a single Li-ion cell or USB rail — and generates the three supply rails an AMOLED panel needs: a positive main supply, a positive gate supply, and a programmable negative supply for the source driver. The three outputs are 4.6V, 7.7V, and a negative rail adjustable from -1.4V down to -5.4V. That third rail is the one that catches you if you swap panels without checking the negative bias spec — mismatch it and the display either washes out or the driver IC latches up.
Thermal and layout realities of the 16-WFQFN
The part is in a 16-WFQFN exposed pad package (3x3 mm). Surface-mount only. The cut-tape or tape-and-reel options cover prototype and production volumes equally — no special handling beyond standard MSL precautions for a QFN.
