Triple-output buck — one chip, two current rails
The TPS65580PWP is a triple-output step-down (buck) regulator from TI's D-CAP2™ family. It delivers one 1.5 A output and two 2.5 A outputs from a single 4.5 V to 18 V input rail. The 700 kHz fixed switching frequency balances inductor size and switching losses.
The 1.5 A output is suited for a low-current analog rail or a small-core supply; the two 2.5 A outputs can each handle a modest I/O bank or a mid-power peripheral bus. The synchronous rectifier (integrated) keeps efficiency up — the external Schottky catch diode is not needed. The 0.764 V minimum output lets you power a core rail directly.

The ROHS3 compliance (lead-free) is confirmed on the datasheet — no exemption conflicts for EU or RoHS-restricted markets.
