Quad-output automotive buck — four rails in one 7x7 QFN
It delivers 4 A on one channel and 2 A on the remaining three, all from a single 4.5 V to 18 V input rail. The adjustable output voltage range starts at 0.6 V and goes up to 16.2 V, covering the common core, I/O, and auxiliary rails in an automotive ECU or ADAS sensor module.
Switching frequency flexibility — inductor sizing trade-off
At the low end you use a larger inductor but get better efficiency; at the high end the inductor shrinks but switching losses rise. This lets the power-stage designer optimise for board area or thermal budget without changing the regulator IC.
