Automotive PMIC for single-supply ECUs
The Texas Instruments TPS65300QPWPRQ1 is an automotive-grade power management IC (PMIC) combining one step-down (buck) converter with three low-dropout linear regulators (LDOs) in a single 24-HTSSOP package. The AEC-Q100 qualification targets it for under-hood and chassis-domain electronic control units (ECUs) where a single 5.6 V to 40 V battery rail must be split into multiple regulated supplies.
Rail budget: 5.3 V buck plus three LDOs
Output 1 is a 5.3 V buck rated at 1.2 A — sized for the main MCU core or a 5 V sensor supply with headroom. Outputs 2 and 3 are 5 V and 3.3 V LDOs at 350 mA each, suitable for analog front-end or I/O rail needs. The buck runs at 2 MHz to 3 MHz, keeping the inductor small enough for the 4.40 mm-wide HTSSOP footprint.
Built-in supervisor, no sequencer
The PMIC includes an integrated voltage supervisor for monitoring the output rails, but does not include a power-up sequencer or an integrated LED driver. The supervisor simplifies the external watchdog circuit for an automotive safety-oriented design.

The 0.173-inch (4.40 mm) body width and 0.65 mm pin pitch are standard for hand-solder or reflow assembly.
