Triple buck with a 5A / 3A / 2A current split
Each output is adjustable from a 0.6V reference, and the three channels deliver 5A, 3A, and 2A respectively — that split is the first thing to check against your rail budget. The 4.5V to 17V input range covers common 5V, 9V, and 12V intermediate buses, and the 250kHz to 2.3MHz switching frequency lets you trade inductor size for efficiency.
The 5A channel is the workhorse — it can power a core SoC rail or a bank of FPGAs. The 3A and 2A channels are sized for I/O, memory, or auxiliary supplies. Because all three share a single inductor and switching node, the layout is simpler than three separate regulators, but the thermal dissipation concentrates in the 32-VQFN (5x5 mm) exposed pad.
