Product details

Triple-output buck — parametric fit for multi-rail designs

The TPS65263RHBT is a triple-output synchronous step-down converter from Texas Instruments, integrating three buck regulators in a single 32-VFQFN (5x5 mm) package. It accepts a 4.5 V to 18 V input rail and delivers a programmable output from 0.68 V up to 6.3 V on each channel, with the main channel rated for 3 A and the two auxiliary channels for 2 A each. Switching at a fixed 600 kHz, the part uses internal synchronous rectifiers — no external Schottky catch diode is needed, which saves board area and improves efficiency at moderate to heavy loads.

Temperature grade and package constraints

The 32-VFQFN with exposed pad (5x5 mm) requires a thermal land on the PCB to pull heat from the die. The pad is the main thermal path; a four-layer board with thermal vias under the pad is typical for sustained 3 A output at high ambient.
