Product details

AEC-Q100 triple buck for automotive power trees

The Texas Instruments TPS65263-1QRHBRQ1 is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) triple-output synchronous buck converter in a 32-VFQFN exposed-pad package. It delivers one 3A rail and two 2A rails from a single 4V to 18V input, covering the typical automotive battery range from cold-crank through load-dump. Synchronous rectification is integrated, so no external catch diode is needed.

Output rails: 3A primary, 2A auxiliary

The three outputs are independently programmable from a minimum of 0.68V up to 6.3V. The 3A channel is typically used for the core SoC or processor rail; the two 2A channels handle I/O or memory supplies. Output configuration is positive, and the regulator uses a buck topology.

Cut-tape quantities are also available for prototyping.

Frequently asked questions

Is TPS65263-1QRHBRQ1 a direct replacement for TPS65263?

The TPS65263-1QRHBRQ1 is the automotive-qualified (AEC-Q100) variant of the base TPS65263. The base part may not carry the same qualification. Check the specific suffix for your BOM's qualification requirements.
