Triple buck regulator for multi-rail systems
The TPS65250RHAR from Texas Instruments integrates three step-down (buck) regulators in a single 40-VFQFN exposed-pad package. It accepts an input from 4.5V to 18V and delivers adjustable outputs from 0.8V up to 17.1V, with the main channel rated for 3A and the other two for 2A each.
Why three rails matter in a 6x6 mm QFN
Many single-output buck regulators like the LMR33630APCQRNXRQ1 deliver 3A on one rail, but the TPS65250RHAR packs three independent outputs in the same 6x6 mm footprint. That saves board space and reduces BOM count when you need separate voltages for core, I/O, and analog supplies. Unlike the LMS3655MQURNLRQ1 (single 5.5A buck) or the LM53625LQURNLRQ1 (fixed 2.5A output), the TPS65250RHAR gives you adjustable outputs on all three channels, so you can set 1.2V, 3.3V, and 5V from one part without extra LDOs.
