LCD bias supply for monitors and TVs
It generates the multiple regulated voltages an LCD panel needs — VGH, VGL, VCOM, and the logic supply — from a single 9.5V to 14V input rail. This is not a general-purpose boost or buck converter; it is a purpose-designed display bias generator. If you are repairing a monitor mainboard or specifying a new panel power stage, this is the part that fits the bill.
The 9.5V to 14V input range ties the part to a regulated intermediate bus — typically a 12V rail from an external adapter or a downstream regulator. It will not run from a 5V USB supply or a loosely regulated battery; the upstream rail needs to stay inside that window. If the panel sits in direct sunlight in a desert climate, the internal die temperature could exceed 85°C at the top of the ambient range — check the thermal impedance of the QFN pad to the board before committing.
Package reality — QFN rework is not hand-solder
The 28-VFQFN with exposed pad (5x5 mm body) is a surface-mount package that needs a hot-air or reflow station to replace. For a prototype or a single-board repair, the Cut Tape option avoids buying a full reel.
