What the 12-output count means for the BOM
Twelve outputs from one IC collapses what would otherwise be a multi-chip regulator array into a single 8x8 mm footprint. That saves board area and procurement complexity, but the thermal budget and power-up sequencing are internal to the part.
That means TI is still manufacturing it, no last-time-buy notice has been issued, and it remains qualified for new design-ins. For a BOM planner, this is the straightforward case: qualify it once and the supply channel stays open through normal distribution. No need to stockpile or hunt for a second source yet.
