Single-cell Li-Ion/Power manager in a 5x5 mm QFN
The Texas Instruments TPS650245RHBR is a power management IC built for single-cell Lithium Ion/Polymer battery applications. It integrates the key power rails and protection into a single 32-VFQFN with an exposed pad, so the board keeps a tight footprint.
Fault protection includes over-temperature and under-voltage lockout. The over-temperature shutdown keeps the die safe if the load pulls hard in a hot enclosure; the under-voltage lockout prevents the battery from discharging into a dead zone.
